Paul John Bold Peated Indian Single Malt

Paul John Bold is an Indian single malt whisky from John Distilleries, crafted from indigenous six-row Himalayan barley smoked with Islay peat at 25 PPM. It is distilled in custom copper pot stills with long narrow necks and matured in charred first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels. The tropical Goan climate accelerates maturation. It is non-chill filtered with no added colouring. It is bottled at 46% ABV. The flavour profile features ocean smoke, charred wood, damp earth, Manuka honey, toasted barley, dried grass, oak-tinged honey, vanilla custard, red liquorice, cloudy peat smoke, dry molasses, oriental spices, peaty soot, copper tingle, and wood tannins.
