The Macallan 12 Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Macallan, matured for a minimum of 12 years in sherry-seasoned American oak and sherry-seasoned European oak casks. It is distilled using the brand's Curiously Small Stills. It is bottled at 40% ABV (43% in select markets). The flavour profile features creamy fudge, warm butterscotch, toffee apple, candied orange, lemon, vanilla custard, newly felled oak, milk chocolate raisins, creamy toffee, sweet orange peel, and gentle wood spices.
