Jameson is a blended Irish whiskey from New Midleton Distillery, combining single pot still whiskey (made from malted and unmalted Irish barley) with light grain whiskey. It undergoes triple distillation in copper pot stills and column stills, and is matured for a minimum of 4 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The flavour profile features floral fragrance, spicy wood grains, sweet vanilla, pot still spice, nutty undertones, and sweet sherry.
