Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC

Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore is a red wine from the Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC, produced by Azienda Vitivinicola Zenato from 85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, and 5% Oseleta sourced from hillside parcels with dry, loamy, and calcareous soils. The wine undergoes the Ripasso method, re-fermenting over Amarone grape pomace for 7-10 days. It is refined in tank for 6 months, aged for 18 months in French Allier oak tonneaux/barriques, followed by 6 months bottle refinement. Bottled at 14% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is smooth and velvety with black fruit and spice notes.
