Product Story & Guide
Zeni Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore is a red wine from the Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC, produced by Cantina Fratelli Zeni from 60% Corvina, 20-30% Rondinella, and 10-20% Corvinone or Molinara sourced from hillside vineyards at 150-450 meters elevation. Grapes are hand-picked, followed by initial fermentation. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation (Ripasso technique) over Amarone grape skins, followed by 10-12 months ageing in oak barrels and short refinement in stainless steel. Bottled at 14% ABV in a 750ml bottle with approximately 8.6 g/L residual sugar. The profile is powerful and velvety with black cherry and spice notes.
The latest price of Zeni Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC in Kolkata is approximately ₹4990. Please note that actual retail prices may vary slightly across licensed vends and government outlets depending on local state excise taxes.
