Product Story & Guide
Zeni Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a red wine from the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, produced by Cantina Fratelli Zeni from 60-70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, and 10-20% Corvinone or Molinara sourced from red-brown soils over limestone-marly sediments and volcanic basalts. Hand-selected grapes undergo appassimento for 2-3 months in drying rooms, losing 30-40% water weight. Winter pressing is followed by extended skin-contact fermentation with 15-20 days maceration. The wine is aged for 2-3 years in 50hl oak barrels or barriques, followed by bottle refinement. Bottled at 15-15.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is powerful and velvety with black cherry and spice notes.
The latest price of Zeni Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG in Kolkata is approximately ₹9770. Please note that actual retail prices may vary slightly across licensed vends and government outlets depending on local state excise taxes.
