Product Story & Guide
Giacomo Grimaldi Barolo is a red wine from the Barolo DOCG appellation, produced by Giacomo Grimaldi from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from 4.5 hectares in the Barolo and Novello municipalities on south/south-west facing clay-sand soils. Grapes undergo temperature-controlled skin maceration for 8-10 days in steel vats, with malolactic fermentation in oak barriques. Aging includes 12 months in French oak barriques (25% new), 12 months in large oak casks, 8 months in stainless steel tanks, and 8 months bottle refinement. Bottled at 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Annual production is approximately 22,000 bottles. The profile is full-bodied and elegant with red fruit, rose, and truffle notes.
The latest price of Giacomo Grimaldi Barolo in Kolkata is approximately ₹6530. Please note that actual retail prices may vary slightly across licensed vends and government outlets depending on local state excise taxes.
