Product Story & Guide
IDDA Etna Rosso is a red wine from the Etna Rosso DOP appellation, produced by IDDA from primarily Nerello Mascalese with Nerello Cappuccio sourced from southwestern slopes of Mount Etna at 600-800 meters elevation on volcanic iron/copper-rich soils. Handpicked clusters undergo fermentation and skin maceration for approximately three weeks. The wine is aged partially in oak casks and concrete vats. Bottled at 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle with 1.20 g/L residual sugar and 6.05 g/L total acidity. The profile is medium-bodied and savory with violet, sour cherry, and volcanic mineral notes.
The latest price of Gaja Idda Rosso Etna in Kolkata is approximately ₹13500. Please note that actual retail prices may vary slightly across licensed vends and government outlets depending on local state excise taxes.
