Gaja Idda Bianco Etna DOC

Gaja IDDA Bianco is a white wine from the Sicilia DOP appellation, produced by IDDA from 100% Carricante sourced from southwestern slopes of Mount Etna at 600-800 meters elevation on volcanic iron/copper-rich soils. Whole bunches undergo gentle cold pressing and static clarification, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation at 18-20°C for approximately three weeks. The wine is aged for 12 months on fine lees, partly in stainless steel vats (80%) and partly in seasoned oak barrels (20%). Bottled at 12.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is linear and mineral-driven with citrus, herb, and volcanic notes.
