Cantine Povero Barolo Priore is a red wine from the Barolo DOCG appellation, produced by Cantine Povero from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from certified Barolo zone plots with yields below 8,000 kg/ha using sustainable and vegan-friendly methods. Hand-picked grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation at 28-30°C for 12-15 days, with malolactic fermentation completed at 20°C. The wine is aged for 36 months in large oak barrels, followed by 6 months bottle refinement. Bottled at 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is full-bodied and earthy with violet, cherry, and truffle notes.
