Albert Bichot Château de Varennes Beaujolais-Villages is a red wine from the Beaujolais-Villages AOC, produced by Maison Albert Bichot from 100% Gamay sourced from south-facing hillside vineyards on granitic and siliceous soils at the 11th-century Château de Varennes. Traditional maceration occurs in temperature-controlled open vats for 10 days, followed by 6-7 months aging in stainless steel tanks without oak. Bottled at 13.5-14% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is fresh and fruity with violet, peony, and red berry notes.
