Jameson Black Barrel is a blended Irish whiskey produced by Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland. It is crafted from a triple-distilled blend containing a higher ratio of single pot still whiskey to small-batch grain whiskey, aged in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks, first-fill bourbon barrels, and double-charred ex-bourbon casks. The whiskey is presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features butterscotch, fudge, vanilla, ripe nectarines, guava, tropical fruits, toasted oak, honey, brown sugar, toasted dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla custard, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and baking spices.
