Haku is a rice-based vodka made from 100% Japanese white rice (hakumai). The rice is polished, inoculated with rice koji (sake fermentation culture), fermented, then double-distilled: first in copper pot stills in Kagoshima, then again in Osaka through pot and column stills. Filtered through high-grade bamboo charcoal. Bottled at 40% ABV. Crystal clear with elegant oily viscosity. Packaged in glass with curved vertical lines mimicking water through rice stems, with pure-white pearlescent Washi paper label featuring traditional Japanese calligraphy.
