Silk & Spice Spice Road

Silk & Spice Spice Road is a Portuguese red wine from Sogrape Vinhos, crafted from a blend of Alicante Bouschet (50%), Syrah (30%), and Touriga Nacional (20%). It is fermented in stainless steel tanks with extended skin contact and a portion aged in French and American oak barrels. It is bottled at 13.5% ABV with 5.8 to 6 g/L acidity, 3.5 pH, and 12 g/L residual sugar, available in 750ml size. The flavour profile features cooked blackberries, dark plums, dark chocolate, vanilla, warm baking spices, cooked dark fruit, mocha, black pepper, and sweet spice.
