Le Volte dell'Ornellaia Toscana

Le Volte dell'Ornellaia is a red wine from the Toscana IGT appellation, produced by Tenuta dell'Ornellaia from a blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from Bolgheri's coastal alluvial clay, limestone, and sandy loam soils. Each variety and parcel is fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is aged for 10 months in used French oak barriques and concrete vats. Bottled at 13.5-14% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is medium-bodied and smooth with red berry, blackberry, and herb notes.
