Bujeu Monferrato DOC Rosso

Bujeu Monferrato Rosso is a red wine from the Monferrato DOC appellation, produced by Famiglia Berta from 60% Nebbiolo and 40% Barbera sourced from The Bujeu single-vineyard at 240-270 meters elevation on marl, sand, and sandstone soils with 18-year-old vines. Hand-harvested grapes are destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled vats at 26-28°C. The wine is aged for 6 months in new French oak barriques (225L). Bottled at 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is full-bodied and balanced with cherry, strawberry, and berry notes.
