Maker's Mark is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon whisky using soft red winter wheat instead of rye. Mash bill: 70% corn, 16% soft red winter wheat, 14% malted barley. Aged to taste, typically 6 to 7 years, in new charred American white oak barrels. Barrels are hand-rotated during aging for consistent temperature exposure. Bottled at 45% ABV. Standard bottle sizes are 750ml or 700ml depending on market.
