Brand History
Yamazakura Japanese Whisky is produced by Sasanokawa Shuzo, a historic distillery located in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Founded in 1765, the distillery originally focused on sake and shochu production before expanding into whisky in 1946. The name Yamazakura is a combination of "Yama" (mountain) and "Zakura" (cherry blossom), symbolizing the natural beauty of Japan and its rich cultural heritage.
