AromaIntensely rich, sweet, deeply concentrated; sticky treacle, dark molasses, stewed prunes, rich Christmas cake, dark chocolate, roasted espresso beans, old antique oak.
PalateLuxuriously thick, syrupy, full-bodied; sweet dates, sultanas, dark honeyed malt, bitter dark cocoa, black cherries in syrup, walnuts, firm grain structure, warm clove and nutmeg.
FinishExceptionally long, warm, velvety; intense dried fruit sweetness slowly tapers to refined dry oakiness; lingering dark chocolate, leather, orange zest.
