Baticheur Monferrato DOC Nebbiolo

Baticheur Monferrato Nebbiolo is a red wine from the Monferrato DOC appellation, produced by Famiglia Berta from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from The Bujeu and Valbeccara parcels at 240-280 meters elevation on marl, sand, and sandstone soils with 18-20 year-old vines at 5,000 vines/ha. Hand-harvested grapes are destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled vats at 26-28°C. The wine is aged for 6 months in new French oak barriques (225L). Bottled at 14-14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The profile is medium-bodied and floral with violet, cherry, and strawberry notes.
