1800 Milenio Extra Anejo Tequila

1800 Milenio is the crown jewel of the 1800 Tequila lineup, an ultra-premium Extra Añejo tequila produced by Casa Cuervo in Jalisco, Mexico. First conceptualized in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium, it is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave handpicked at peak maturity and steamed for 36 hours in traditional masonry ovens. The tequila is double-distilled in copper pot stills, aged for 40 months in new American oak barrels, then finished for an additional 4 months in French oak ex-Cognac casks. It is presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features oaky vanilla, toasted wood, rich caramel, red fruits, white pepper, cigar box, milk chocolate, butterscotch, stewed figs, raisins, toasted nuts, cinnamon, earthy cooked agave, dark chocolate, baking spices, and mint-chocolate Cognac influence.
