The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks to emphasize clean fruit expression over wood tannins. It is presented at 13.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features ripe dark cherries, wild strawberries, boysenberries, black tea leaves, vanilla bean, forest floor, wood spice, white pepper, herbaceous tones, red plums, tart raspberries, candied ginger, cocoa dust, mineral stones, and dried cherries.
