Akashi Blue Label

Akashi Blue Label is a world blended whisky produced by the Eigashima Shuzo Distillery in Akashi City, Japan, blending traditional Scottish methodologies with Japanese sake-making expertise. It is matured for 2 years in American White Oak ex-Shochu casks, secondary-aged in ex-bourbon casks, and finished in ex-Sherry casks. The whisky is presented at 40% ABV in a 700ml bottle. The flavor profile features orange peels, orchard fruits, wildflower honey, vanilla, white pepper, caramel, vanilla custard, green apple, cinnamon, ginger spice, wood smoke, toasted oak, baking spices, and fruity sweetness.
