Ballantine's 30 Year Old is an ultra-premium blended Scotch whisky produced in Scotland, crafted from a hand-selected marriage of ultra-rare malts including Glenburgie, Miltonduff, Scapa, and Glentauchers, combined with rare grain whiskies, matured for a minimum of 30 years in seasoned American oak ex-bourbon barrels and European oak ex-sherry casks. The whisky is presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features juicy pear, dark honey, vanilla oak fudge, old leather, dried apricots, nutmeg, sweet floral trace, sherry sweetness, dark chocolate, toffee, toasted hazelnuts, old oak shavings, Christmas fruitcake, orange marmalade, cinnamon, ginger, old cigar tobacco, and soft smoke.
