Amrut Amalgam Blended Malt Whisky

Amrut Amalgam is a blended malt whisky produced by Amrut Distilleries in Bengaluru, India, representing a cross-continental marriage of Amrut's Indian single malt with aged single malts sourced from Scotland and Asia . The component malts are vatted together and subjected to a dynamic secondary finishing program using three distinct cask types: Virgin American Oak, ex-Bourbon, and ex-Sherry casks. The whisky is presented at 42.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle, non-chill filtered. The flavor profile features mango, pineapple, pears, wildflower honey, vanilla, peat smoke, oak, hard candy, sultanas, orange marmalade, toasted almonds, dark chocolate, black pepper, cinnamon, and oak smoke.
