Brand History Johnnie Walker Blue Label is an ultra-premium blended Scotch whisky, regarded for its rarity and exceptional smoothness. It is the top expression in the Johnnie Walker core range, produced by Diageo, one of the largest global spirits companies. The whisky is blended and bottled in Scotland, using rare casks sourced from all four whisky-producing regions of Scotland, including some casks from "ghost" distilleries that are no longer operational. It was originally launched in 1992 as "Johnnie Walker Oldest."
