Brand Heritage
Clase Azul emerged in 1997 when founder Arturo Lomeli, a 23-year-old bar owner in Guadalajara, established the brand to create a premium tequila celebrating authentic Mexican culture. Starting from Santa María Canchesda, the brand evolved from its initial "Tequila La Pinta" iteration to become a global luxury symbol. In 2007, Clase Azul deepened its cultural commitment by creating Tradición Mazahua, a dedicated ceramic workshop where over 80% of artisans are women from impoverished backgrounds, receiving childcare, education, and meals.
