Brenne French Single Malt Whisky

Brenne French Single Malt Whisky is a highly unique seed-to-spirit expression launched in 2012 by founder Allison Parc, distilled and matured in the heart of the Cognac region of France. It completely breaks away from traditional Scotch profiles, offering an exceptionally fruit-forward pastry-like character driven by its distinct terroir and cask selections. Made from 100% malted barley using two proprietary heirloom varieties grown directly on the estate, with water sourced from the Charente River. Cold small-batch fermentation using a proprietary yeast strain designed to unlock highly floral and aromatic esters. Double-distilled in traditional copper Alembic Charentais stills, the exact same type used to produce high-end Cognac. Brenne was the first single malt in the world to be matured exclusively in a combination of new French Limousin oak barrels and ex-Cognac casks, typically matured for 6 to 8 years. No age statement. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 Proof) in 750ml size. Features bright yellow gold color.
