Dewars 15 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky

Dewar's 15 Year Old, historically nicknamed The Monarch, is a premium blended Scotch whisky known for its distinctly sweeter lighter and highly floral character, holding a special place in the brand's history as the very first permanent blend custom-designed by Dewar's award-winning Master Blender Stephanie Macleod. The inspiration for its name comes from the iconic Sir Edwin Landseer oil painting The Monarch of the Glen depicting a Royal Stag, which was purchased by John Dewar & Sons in 1919. Up to 30 premium single malts and grain whiskies anchored by the smooth honey-heavy malt profile of Aberfeldy Distillery are independently matured for a minimum of 15 years, then expertly blended together and filled back into specially selected oak barrels including ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks for an additional resting period. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 Proof) in 750ml size.
