Dewars 12 YO Blended Scotch Whisky

Dewar's 12 Year Old, also famously known as The Ancestor, is a highly decorated premium blended Scotch whisky serving as the permanent step-up expression from the brand's entry-level White Label. Crafted by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod and awarded 1st Place for Best 12-Year-Old Blended Scotch at the 2024 International Whisky Competition, it uses a proprietary two-stage double aging process where up to 30 individual single malt and grain whiskies primarily sourced from Bacardi-owned distilleries like Aberfeldy and Craigellachie are matured independently in oak for at least 12 years, then married and put back into oak casks for an additional 6-month maturation period before being finished in first-fill Bourbon casks. The core malt heart is Aberfeldy single malt. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 Proof) in 750ml size.
