Ballantines Finest Whisky

Ballantine's Finest is the flagship bedrock expression of the brand and stands as one of the most widely consumed blended Scotch whiskies in the world, first formulated in 1910 and remaining the oldest unchanged recipe in the Ballantine's Portfolio. A complex marriage of over 40 distinct single malts and 4 grain whiskies sourced from the four main whisky regions of Scotland (Speyside, Highlands, Lowlands, and Islay), heavily anchored by Glenburgie and Miltonduff single malts which provide its core fruity and floral backbone. Primarily aged in a combination of high-quality American ex-bourbon oak casks and European oak casks before being blended. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 Proof) in 750ml size. Features pale bright gold color. Packaged in a famous square amber-tinted glass bottle, historically chosen during the American Prohibition era so salesmen could easily pack the bottles flat inside briefcases without them rolling around and clinking.
