Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the pinnacle luxury expression within the core range, formulated in 1992 by Master Blender Jim Beveridge to emulate the rich character of 19th-century whiskies. It is composed of hand-selected elite casks from the vast Johnnie Walker reserves, with only 1 out of every 10,000 aging barrels possessing the necessary quality. It features mature whiskies from long-closed "ghost" distilleries including Port Dundas, with fingerprint malts from Cardhu, Clynelish, and Caol Ila. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle with a pale amber and brilliant gold glints appearance.
