History:
Scapa Skiren is produced by Scapa Distillery, founded in 1885 on Mainland, Orkney—one of Scotland’s most northerly distilleries. Renowned for its craftsmanship and unique location near Scapa Flow, the distillery is one of the only in Scotland to use a Lomond wash still, imparting a distinctive smoothness and honeyed profile to the whisky. The Skiren expression was introduced as a modern, elegant, non-age statement core single malt, replacing older age-statement offerings.
