The Glenlivet 18 Years Old Batch Reserve is matured primarily in American bourbon casks with about 15% fresh Oloroso sherry casks, providing a harmonious balance of fruit, spice, and oak character.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Rich and complex with notes of sherry, apple blossom, vanilla, toffee, cherries, dried plums, orange peel, dark chocolate, oak, and a hint of cinnamon.
Palate: Perfectly balanced with flavors of oranges, baked apples, crème brûlée, toffee, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, oak, traces of sherry, and herbs.
Finish: Incredibly long with a harmonious blend of sweetness, oak, and spicy tones.
