A dark rum produced from 80% heavy sugar cane honey distillate and 20% light-to-medium molasses distillate; primarily distilled in copper pot stills; blended from reserves aged up to 12 years in small American white oak casks previously used for bourbon and malt whisky; includes post-distillation addition of sugar cane honey/sugar (approximately 20g to 40g per liter, adjusted by regional regulations); bottled at 40% ABV; carries Ron de Venezuela DOC certification.
