An Islay dry gin produced through a slow, low-pressure 17-hour distillation in a modified Lomond copper pot still named "Ugly Betty"; combines nine core gin botanicals (juniper berries, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, cassia bark, cinnamon, lemon peel, orange peel, orris root) with 22 hand-foraged Islay botanicals including apple mint, chamomile, creeping thistle, downy birch, elderflower, gorse, hawthorn, heather, lemon balm, meadowsweet, mugwort, red clover, spearmint, sweet cicely, sweet chamomile, water mint, white clover, wild thyme, wood sage, woodruff, tansy, and bog myrtle; core botanicals are simmered in the pot while foraged botanicals undergo vapor infusion in a canvas bag in the still neck; bottled at 46% ABV in 70cl and 1L sizes; crystal clear appearance; heavy clear-glass bottle embossed with Latin names of foraged botanicals.
