Godawan 01 is an artisanal Indian single malt whisky with an ABV of 46%. It is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry casks. The use of local barley and the treatment of casks with Indian botanicals contribute to its unique flavor profile. This whisky is non-chill filtered, which helps preserve its natural character and complexity.

Tasting Notes

• Aroma: Rich dried fruits like figs and prunes, combined with matured wood, honeyed sweetness, and caramel. There are also hints of baklava-like butteriness that add depth to the nose.

• Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, with layers of raisins, dark chocolate, and cloves. The sweetness of the malt is balanced by ginger, adding complexity to the palate.

• Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of sherry, toasted oak, and sweet spices that round off the experience.
