Dewar’s 12 Years Blended Scotch Whisky Double Aged

Dewar’s 12 is a blend of around 40 malt and grain whiskies led by Dewar’s own single malts, married and then re‑aged to integrate flavors; newer batches highlight first‑fill bourbon cask influence. The house style is floral, honeyed and gently smoky, with the double‑aged method delivering a notably silky mouthfeel at 40–43% ABV.

Tasting notes

• Nose: Juicy fruit, creamy malt and florals with honey, toasted barley and almond; apple and peach with lemon zest noted in newer releases.

• Palate: Balanced honeyed malt, hot buttered toast and vanilla with light aniseed spice; slick, fruity layers of barley sugars and ice‑cream‑like vanilla.

• Finish: Medium with a touch of smoke, warm honeyed sweetness and soft oak spice.
