Corralejo Añejo is a premium aged tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from estate-grown fields in Guanajuato. The production employs traditional methods including slow-roasting in clay ovens, fermentation with natural yeast, and double distillation in copper pot stills using the Charentais method (historically developed for Cognac). The spirit is aged for a full 12 months in hand-selected American oak barrels, with some small batches incorporating French Limousine and Mexican oak casks (no larger than 300 liters) to enhance complexity and smoothness.​

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Rich oak and smoke, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, peppercorn, toasted nuts, caramel, hints of hazelnut, warm spice undertones, slight floral notes.​

Palate: Robust and full-bodied with layers of oak, caramel, and cooked agave. White peppercorn, cardamom, vanilla cream, toffee, cooked pear, hints of cinnamon and clove create a complex, harmonious profile. Silky and velvety texture without sharp edges.​

Finish: Luxurious, long, and lingering with intense wood flavor and smoky tones. Persistent notes of oak, vanilla, pepper, subtle sweetness, and warm spice characterize the refined conclusion.​
