An AOC Fine Champagne Cognac produced from Ugni Blanc grapes; double-distilled in small Charentais copper pot stills with distillation strictly on the lees (yeast sediment); assembled from over 400 eaux-de-vie aged 10 to 37 years; matured in fine-grained toasted French Limousin oak barrels; 40% ABV (80 proof), presented in fluted glass sunburst decanter. Blend composition approximately 85% Grande Champagne balance Petite Champagne. Flavor profile characterized by jasmine, iris, candied fruits, ripe plums, dried figs, warm vanilla, fresh-ground hazelnuts, candied orange peel, dark fruits, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon, rancio oak, roasted cocoa beans, honeyed gingerbread, and cigar tobacco.
